Chief Executive (CEO)
The CEO is the team leader, the main representative of the Centre and accountable to the Management Committee, mainly via the Chair. The CEO is responsible for representing the organisation and its developments through close links with statutory and private agencies; overseeing financial management and ensuring an equal service is delivered to carers from all sections of the community. The CEO is also responsible for identifying funds for the promotion, development and sustainability of projects; for the recruitment and to supervision of staff and their professional development; and to ensure that appropriate operational and communication systems are in place and reviewed.

Hilary Ayling
Deputy Manager
To provide support to ICC's CEO in terms of contributing to strategy and planning, service development and training, outreach (specifically older carers), some staff supervision, newsletter design and production, design and production of publicity and facilitating support groups and events.
Ade Adeniran
Advice and Information Officer
To provide advice, advocacy, support and information to carers with an emphasis on support for older carers and carers of older people. Key to the role is the provision of general advice on benefits, housing and health and facilitating access to appropriate services. Carers are seen through office appointments and home visits. The role also encompasses supporting carers’ events and participation in consultations with statutory agencies.

Asiatou Bangura
Emergency Card Assessor
Asiatou Bangura is ICC's Emergency Card Assessor and carries out carers assessments for clients who attend the Centre and for other charities that work alongside us, in accordance with the current legislation of the Carers Act 2000.
During an assessment, Asiatou will be able, with the help of the carer, to find out how s/he is coping with the caring role and how it is affecting their well-being. She will also be able to establish if they need to be referred to other services for further support.
Asiatou will be undertaking outreach work with GP surgeries, Community Mental Health Teams, the Independent Learning Disabilioty Persons Team (ILDP), churches, youth centres and many other organisations in order to promote the Emergency Card Scheme and carers assessments. With the card, carers will be able to receive emergency support within 24 hours of requesting help. The support will be free of charge for 72 hours.
Jill Keegan
Mental Health Officer/Dual Diagnosis
To identify and support carers of people with enduring mental health or with drug or alcohol problems. To develop a sustainable network of support, to identify areas of concern, and to promote involvement in the planning, development and implementation of mental health services in Islington for carers.
Mariama Pratt
Finance, Monitoring and IT Officer
To assist the Manager in ensuring the provision of effective and efficient administrative and financial systems; to be responsible for maintaining a computerised accounting package (Quick Books) and to process invoices; to provide general IT and software support to all staff and to maintain equipment; to maintain ICC's database and collate monitoring statistics for reports to funders.
Debbie Puckerin
Breaks Fund Administrator
To assist the Manager in providing an effective and efficient administration of the ICC Flexible Breaks Fund. To promote and publicise the Fund and to support carers by helping with applications. To process applications and to ensure that carers are informed of awards and how to appeal. To collate the Breaks Fund monitoring information and to produce reports for funders.
Rashina Shah
Advice and Information Officer
To provide information, advice, advocacy and support to all categories of carer, including mental health carers. Key to this role is the provision of general advice on benefits, housing and health issues. Carers are seen via office appointments or home visits; and through outreach work to enable them to access services relevant to their needs and to raise awareness of the issues they face. The role encompasses the organisation of carers’ activities and consultations with the statutory sector.

Spike Warwick
Mental Health and Diversity Officer
Spike Warwick is ICC's mental Health and Diversity Officer. She is responsible for organising our monthly Health and Relaxation Days and facilitating the Mental Health Carers' Group. She will also be developing some stress reduction courses for carers in the future. Spike will be undertaking outreach work into the community to increase our numbers of male carers, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender carers and young carers using our services.
