Evening information line

This is a weekly after hours telephone advice line for working carers every Tuesday from 5 - 7 pm.

Drop-in Sessions

Carers will be able to have access to a PC, the Internet and information training DVDs. Carers will play a key role in the planning of activities and other interests. This is an opportunity for Carers to meet for coffee, chat, relax in comfortable surroundings and read a book or browse through a newsletter or just simply unwind. New Carers will be sign-posted to attend the drop-in as an introduction to ICC services.

Young Adult Carers Group

To encourage transition to adult services, young adult carers (YACs) will have the opportunity to access a PC, the Internet and information training DVD’s, advice and support e.g. benefit checks, health checks, mentoring, training and careers advice. YACs will also have the opportunity to network with their peer group, participate in age appropriate activities and to develop their self confidence. YACs will be able to use the cafe area to socialise or just simply unwind and relax.
